South Allegheny had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Aliquippa Quips on Saturday, sneaking past 37-35. The win was nothing new for the Gladiators as they're now sitting on four straight.

South Allegheny's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Aliquippa, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 19-5 record.

South Allegheny does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aliquippa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montour at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
