South Iron barely beat Naylor the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Panthers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for South Iron and bumps their season record up to 17-6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Naylor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
