Volleyball Recap: Howland Gets the Win

Howland posted their closest win since March 18th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the North Vikings 3-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Howland wouldn't go down easily and took North into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 19-25, 18-25, 15-9.

Wesley Fee paced Howland's offense, picking up 14 kills. Fee got some help from Alex Slater and his 17 assists.

Howland picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-7. As for North, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Howland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Nordonia on the 17th. North has also already played their next contest (against Northwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
