Soccer Game Preview: Marlin vs. Lorena

Marlin hasn't had much luck against Lorena recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Marlin Bulldogs will host the Lorena Leopards at 5:30 p.m.

Marlin managed to keep up with China Spring until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Marlin lost 3-0 to China Spring. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lorena kept a clean sheet against Connally on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cadets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

Keaton Lenard and Brock Deleon scored all three of Lorena's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Lorena pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matches. As for Marlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.
