Soccer Recap: Newton Falls Short of Pascack Valley in the Playoffs

Newton and Pascack Valley squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Newton had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Newton have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Pascack Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Newton wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Delaware Valley on the 1st. As for Pascack Valley, they will square off against West Milford on Friday.
