District 9 Region 2 Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

Aiden Bliss Delivers Electric Effort Vs Keystone

Aiden Bliss's big game helped extend Port Allegany's winning streak to 11 on Friday. Bliss turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 290 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. Bliss is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 120 every time he's taken the field this season.

Bliss might have his next game, a home matchup with Redbank Valley, circled on his calendar. Back in September (the last time Bliss saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry.

Redbank Valley Gets a Boost from Wagner in 31-13 Win

Redbank Valley picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Braylon Wagner. Wagner turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 66 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 239 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Redbank Valley: the team is 8-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley's probably not too fond of Wagner given he always seems to get the better of them. Wagner threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the duked it out back in August.

Port Allegany Wins 11th-Straight Thanks to Tristan Kiser

Port Allegany picked up their 11th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Tristan Kiser. Kiser was dynamite, rushing for 59 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

If the past is any indication, Kiser could be in store for another big game when he takes on Redbank Valley on Saturday. Back in September (the last time Kiser saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.
