Clear Fork entered their contest against Highland on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Colts fell just short of the Fighting Scots by a score of 13-10. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colts came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Fighting Scots are ranked 281st).

Clear Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Highland, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Clear Fork wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 44-7 win against River Valley on the 17th. As for Highland, they have also already played their next contest, a 28-14 victory against Marion Harding on the 16th.
