Basketball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks and fell 54-21. The Elks haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

The win made it two in a row for Chester-Joplin-Inverness and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Augusta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester-Joplin-Inverness, they will be home for the holidays to greet Turner at 6:00 p.m. on December 20th.
