Basketball Recap: Farmington Extends Winning Streak to Five

Farmington waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down the Franklin Tornadoes 70-51. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tornadoes, too.

Farmington pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will challenge Nute at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Farmington's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Franklin, they will face off against Concord Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
