Volleyball Game Preview: Shelton Gaels vs. Seymour Wildcats + How To Watch

The Shelton Gaels will face off against the Seymour Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Shelton is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since October 21, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Sacred Heart Academy, falling 3-0. The Gaels have struggled against the Sharks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Seymour entered their tilt with Derby on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Red Raiders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 21-25, 25-19.

Shelton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Seymour, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Shelton beat Seymour 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Gaels repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
