Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy and King's Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Calvary Christian Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Calvary Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King's Academy, they will face off against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
