Blue Ridge's loss ends five-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Blue Ridge Raiders vs. Athens Wildcats
On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Blue Ridge had to settle for a 54-52 defeat against Athens.
Leading Athens to victory were Nick Jacob and Connor Mosher. Jacob scored 17 points, while Mosher dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Mosher has scored at least 25% of Athens' points. Another player making a difference was Nick Grazul, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Blue Ridge's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Athens, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Blue Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Wyoming Seminary College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Penn-Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Hopefully North Penn-Liberty focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday.
