Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jerome). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Wood River Wolverines 46-14. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three contests in a row.
Jerome didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Payton Jackson and Gabe Capps. That interception was Capps' first of the season.
Jerome's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Wood River, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
