Football Recap: Palo Verde Wins Going Away Against ALA - Anthem South + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willcox, Palo Verde was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over ALA - Anthem South.

Jackson Tyson threw for 34 yards on four of six attempts. Gus Banegas was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Isaac Ndatimana rushed for 141 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Although ALA - Anthem South took the loss, they still got scores from Tyler Nye and Gabriel Fotu.

The victory got Palo Verde back to even at 1-1. As for ALA - Anthem South, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will challenge Tanque Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Titans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for ALA - Anthem South, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Coronado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
