Baseball Recap: Pieper Comes Up Short

Pieper fell victim to East Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the East Central Hornets by a score of 1-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pieper's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for East Central, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Pieper will be taking part in a tournament against Madison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Central, they will venture away from home to take on Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
