Basketball Recap: Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 46-12 loss at the hands of the Master's Academy Patriots. That's two games in a row now that Pineapple Cove Classical Academy has lost by exactly 34 points.

Alison Viersma was a one-woman wrecking crew for Master's Academy as she dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Those 23 points gave Viersma a new career-high. Phoenix Henderson was another key player, putting up seven points and eight steals.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Master's Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Pineapple Cove Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Master's Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Brevard Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
