Volleyball Recap: Walker Falls Despite Big Games from Kinley Crisp and Sofia Moore + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walker can now relate to. They came up short against the Mount Paran Christian Eagles on Saturday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

Walker's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sofia Moore, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Kinley Crisp, who had eight digs and one assist. Moore has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Mount Paran Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Emma Schwaig led the charge by getting 11 digs. That's the most digs Schwaig has posted over her last eight matches. Another player making a difference was Kelsie Moran, who had ten digs and one assist.

Walker's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 31-19. As for Mount Paran Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 37-11 record this season.
