Baseball Recap: Borah Find Success

Borah never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Moscow on Saturday. They skirted past the Bears 13-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since March 8, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Brady Robinson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tate Kubena, who scored three runs while going 1-for-3.

Borah's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Moscow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Borah will take on Owyhee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moscow, they will challenge Coeur d'Alene at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
