Basketball Recap: La Sierra Comes Up Short

La Sierra was the 51-43 winner over Rubidoux when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The La Sierra Eagles came up short against the Rubidoux Falcons on Tuesday, falling 61-41. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

La Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Rubidoux, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-10.

La Sierra won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ramona at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramona knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully La Sierra likes a good challenge. As for Rubidoux, they will be playing at home against Jurupa Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Rubidoux is facing Jurupa Valley at the right time seeing as Jurupa Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
