Central Gets a Boost from Williams in 38-33 Defeat
Starting off the list is Central's Tristan Williams, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Williams rushed for 152 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
The defeat snapped Central's losing streak at 18 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 5-1 record. Williams and Central will stay at home for another week and welcome Carver Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Auburn picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Kilgore. Kilgore turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 278 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 43 yards.
Auburn pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers takes on Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Jamari Miller Leads Opelika over Dothan
On Friday, Opelika got the W thanks in part to Jamari Miller playing the best football he has all season. Miller rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 83 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
The win was the fourth in a row for Opelika, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Miller and Opelika will take on Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
