Football Game Preview: Celina Bobcats vs. Eastern Hills Highlanders + How To Watch

The Celina Bobcats will square off against the Eastern Hills Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Celina knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Eastern Hills likes a good challenge.

Celina is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 77-0 victory over Pinkston. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Celina relied on the efforts of Bowe Bentley, who threw for 119 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and Jacob Brown, who gained 14 total yards. What's more, Bentley racked up 55 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Celina proved: they limited Pinkston to a paltry 1.3 yards per carry. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Eastern Hills hadn't done well against Kennedale recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Highlanders snuck past the Wildcats with a 22-17 victory.

Celina's record now sits at 11-0. As for Eastern Hills, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
