Recap: Timberline Wolves vs. Thunder Ridge Titans
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Timberline ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunder Ridge Titans and snuck past 3-2. The win was just what Timberline needed coming off of an 8-0 defeat in their prior game.
Diego Baker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base and an RBI.
On Thunder Ridge's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Preston Hanson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Cox, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with a stolen base.
The victory got Timberline back to even at 3-3. As for Thunder Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timberline's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Pocatello at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thunder Ridge will take on Mountain Home at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
