It was a good run, but Yorktown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Langley Saxons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Saxons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in October.

Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Langley, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yorktown will host South Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Seahawks have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Langley, they will face off against Chantilly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
