Baseball Recap: Revere's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Revere entered their tilt with Aurora on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They beat the Greenmen by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-7 last Tuesday.

AJ Hall looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Aaron French was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Tyler Frate was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Revere's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Aurora, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Revere beat the Greenmen by a score of 1-0 on Friday.
