Softball Recap: Aztec Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aztec can now relate to. They lost 7-1 to the Silver Fighting Colts on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Kamora Henry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Aztec saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madeline Kaiser, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Aztec's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Silver, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-4.

As of now, neither Aztec nor the Fighting Colts have any future games scheduled.
