Cimarron had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Pratt Greenbacks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bluejays have posted since October 3, 2024.

Cimarron had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Bradie Burkhart paced Cimarron's offense, picking up 11 kills. Burkhart got some help from Emery May and her 14 assists. May was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cimarron now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Pratt, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.

Cimarron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hugoton on the 13th. Hopefully Pratt paid attention to the Bluejays' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
