Recap: McBee Panthers vs. Chesterfield Golden Rams
The McBee Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 51-25 walloping at the hands of Chesterfield. McBee lost against Chesterfield in their previous head to head last Monday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 50-39 score last time.
It was another big night for Kierra Diggs, who scored 24 points along with 8 rebounds for Chesterfield. The game was Diggs' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jaeda Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 14 rebounds and 3 steals.
McBee has fallen quite a ways from their 13-6 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Chesterfield, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McBee will face off against Cheraw at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chesterfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Great Falls at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
