Baseball Game Preview: Memphis East Mustangs vs. Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs

Memphis East came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-9 to Kingsbury. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost seven in a row.

Jayden Travis was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Phoenix Battle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Raleigh-Egypt, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Craigmont 9-8. The Pharaohs haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Raleigh-Egypt's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Memphis East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
