Oak Hall took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bronson 50-0. The victory continues a trend for Oak Hall in their matchups with Bronson: they've now won six in a row.

Leading Oak Hall to victory were Aaron Akins and Jeremiah Taylor. Akins rushed for ten yards and one touchdown, while Taylor gained 26 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Akins a new career-high in passer rating (177.1).

Oak Hall didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrew Schmidt and Amari Ray. Ray got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bronson is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Oak Hall is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Bishop Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Bronson, they will take on Stanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
