Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads NSU University over Florida Christian

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only NSU University walked away with it. They strolled past the Florida Christian Patriots with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 41-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Jayden Miller produced another solid performance throwing for 208 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. His passing game has become a key predictor of NSU University's success: the team is 5-1 when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

Miller was just one part of a punishing run game: NSU University was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

NSU University's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Florida Christian, they moved to 8-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

NSU University wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 41-15 win against Westminster Academy on the 7th. Florida Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
