Fort Bend Travis waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Fort Bend Clements Rangers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Fort Bend Travis didn't let Fort Bend Clements take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 25-23.

Emme Ansell paced Fort Bend Travis' offense, picking up 13 kills. Ansell got some help from Molly McClimans and her 24 assists. Kylie Winn and Moni Anjous kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Fort Bend Travis' win bumped their record up to 16-17. As for Fort Bend Clements, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Bend Travis will square off against rival Fort Bend Hightower at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fort Bend Clements is set to challenge their familiar foe Fort Bend Bush at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
