Basketball Game Preview: Clinton Cardinals vs. Nevada Tigers

Clinton is 0-10 against Nevada since January of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Clinton Cardinals just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Nevada Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Clinton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Clinton will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Oak Grove, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. Clinton came out on top against Oak Grove by a score of 56-43 on Monday. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Nevada, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged Fair Grove out 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since December 6, 2024.

Nevada's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 19.4 points. As for Clinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
