Soccer Recap: Nampa Triumphs

Nampa proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Jerome Tigers. Nampa's winning goal came courtesy of Swedi Eumbu.

Nampa's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jerome, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Nampa has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Meridian on the 29th. As for Jerome, they will venture away from home to face off against Twin Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Jerome their first taste of in-conference action this season.
