It was a good run, but Milford unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 19-6 to the Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks.

Kaitlynn Elkins was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Marisa Merz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Bloomfield Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11-1.

While Milford had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
