Baseball Recap: Scranton Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Scranton and Bearden squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Scranton had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 8-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Rockets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bearden, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

As of now, neither Scranton nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
