Basketball Recap: Loyola Takes a Loss

Loyola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 51-41 to the United South Central Rebels. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Loyola now has a losing record at 6-7. As for United South Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Loyola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 57-53 win against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman on the 14th. As for United South Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-48 loss against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on the 14th.
