Kimball wins going away against Hemingford

Recap: Kimball Longhorns vs. Hemingford Bobcats

The Kimball Longhorns's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-20 victory over Hemingford. For Kimball, this counts as revenge for the 34-26 defeat Hemingford walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

Kimball can attribute much of their success to Grace Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds. Faith Bohac was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Hemingford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-16.

Kimball won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Mitchell at 11:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Kimball is facing Mitchell at the right time seeing as Mitchell is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Hemingford, they and Morrill will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hemingford is coming into the matchup with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Morrill will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
