Volleyball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for Butler

Butler had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Midway Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Leading Butler to victory were Georgia Mccoun and Tandee Hiser. Mccoun had eight digs and one assist, while Hiser hit 63.6% for 15 kills and five digs and two blocks. Hiser has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 32 times she's played.

Butler's record is now 18-1-1. As for Midway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-3 record this season.

Butler has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Faith Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Midway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Archie on the 4th.
