Crestview hadn't done well against Milton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Panthers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Cambell Toolan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Crestview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Presley Houser, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Milton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season.

Crestview will look to defend their home field on Monday against South Walton at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Seahawks have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
