Volleyball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Comes Up Short

Saxony Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Jackson Fighting Indians. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Fighting Indians when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6, 25-10.

Saxony Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11-1. As for Jackson, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Saxony Lutheran will face off against Leopold at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson, they will square off against Oakville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Fighting Indians their first taste of in-conference action this season.
