Basketball Recap: Allen Triumphs

Allen won the last time they faced Tupelo and things went their way on Friday too. The Mustangs managed a 43-38 victory over the Tigers. Those 43 points were actually the fewest the Mustangs have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Allen's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Tupelo, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Allen will head out to challenge Latta at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tupelo, they are taking a road trip to face off against Kiowa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
