Volleyball Preview: DeSoto County Bulldogs vs. Sebring Blue Streaks
DeSoto County has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will venture away from home to square off against the Sebring Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, DeSoto County made easy work of Hardee and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-10.
Emery Skinner was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs.
Meanwhile, Sebring had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 3-1.
Sebring was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-12, 25-16.
DeSoto County pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Sebring, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
