Soccer Game Preview: San Angelo Central vs. Antonian Prep

The San Angelo Central Bobcats will face off against the Antonian Prep Apaches at 10:50 a.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when San Angelo Central faced off against Liberty Hill on Thursday. Neither San Angelo Central nor Liberty Hill could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Bobcats' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Antonian Prep's offense. They fell 2-0 to MacArthur on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Brahmas: they've now lost four in a row.

San Angelo Central's draw makes their record 3-2-1 this season. As for Antonian Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-3.
