Woodland came into Tuesday's contest looking for another win against Burke, but Jordan Nelson wouldn't allow it. The Burke Bulldogs blew past the Woodland Wolverines 93-60 on Tuesday thanks in part to Nelson, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Burke is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Woodland, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Burke will venture away from home to square off against Andrews at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Burke is facing Andrews at the right time seeing as Andrews is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Woodland, they will square off against Academic Magnet at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Academic Magnet will have lost three straight heading into Friday's matchup.
