Basketball Recap: Wisdom's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Wisdom's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Van Buren Crusaders with a sharp 68-46 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-12 back in January.

With the victory, Wisdom broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9. As for Van Buren, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Wisdom won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Van Buren does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
