Basketball Recap: Grayville Skates Past Ramsey with Ease

Grayville came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 79-43 win over the Ramsey Rams. That looming 79-43 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bison yet this season.

Leading Grayville to victory were Jake Hosman and Zach Leavens. Hosman dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards, while Leavens posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Ian Kleinschmidt, who put up 14 points.

Grayville now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ramsey, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Grayville will face off against Wayne City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.8 points per game this season. As for Ramsey, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mulberry Grove at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
