Preston Hatfield Delivers Best Performance of Season
Preston Hatfield produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Lee's Summit to the win on Friday. Hatfield rushed for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 17.4 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards.
The victory (which was Lee's Summit's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Hatfield and Lee's Summit will be playing at home against Lee's Summit North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Draivyn Colvin Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Draivyn Colvin posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Staley over Lee's Summit on Friday. Colvin rushed for 198 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Staley is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Colvin and Staley will face off against Raymore-Peculiar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Layman Posts Huge Game in 63-28 Win
Another Lee's Summit player making an appearance on this list is Brayden Layman. He threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played.
