Football Recap: Bridger Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bridger extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-5. They had to suffer through a 44-14 loss at the hands of the North Toole County Refiners. The Scouts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Refiners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

As for North Toole County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

It was another big night for Erica 'Showtime' Rice, who threw for 888 yards and six touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes. Rice is crushing it when it comes to passing yards: he's passed for at least 730 every time he's taken the field this season. Jake Mahomes-Black was another key player, having thrown for 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Bridger has already played their next contest (against Gardiner), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Toole County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 57-19 win against Chester-Joplin-Inverness on the 4th.
