Soccer Game Preview: Ashland vs. Wayland

Ashland hasn't had much luck against Wayland recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Clockers will be playing at home against the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Ashland's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Ashland is headed into the matchup having not lost since September 22 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Westwood finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday. That draw made it three straight for Ashland.

Meanwhile, Wayland has been on a difficult stretch since their win on October 7. They came up short against Newton South on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Wayland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Newton South are ranked sixth).

With that draw, Ashland's record moves to 9-3-7. As for Wayland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-4.
