Cholla benefitted from Mendoza in 78-65 win
Jerry Mendoza turned in nothing short of a gem on Tuesday: he scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was his tenth in a row with two or more steals. This season, Mendoza has averaged 18.4 points, 5.2 steals, and 5.7 assists per contest.
Mendoza and Cholla will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nogales at 7:00 p.m. Mendoza hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 18.4 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Nogales' dominant defense.
